Share Your Story

We all have them, stories—some funny, some exciting, some sad, and stories expressing all sorts of emotions, even some that are drab and boring.

My narrative today is that a longtime friend helped me when I needed it. I needed a job, and he offered it immediately. Then, he trusted me to do more for his company, and more, and more. While I consider myself a freelancer, he has me working almost full time now.

The foundation of his company is for each person to tell his or her story. Whether it is a beautifully hardbound book created to showcase one’s life or company history with LifeStories.com, or a DIY book made by entering answers to series of questions about your spiritual history at SpiritualLifeStories.com, both offer an outlet to share.

My grandmother was assisted by my cousin in compiling a booklet of a dozen or so tales about her life, and it is so valuable to me. I’ve read it several times. Leaving stories for others to see is important, and I encourage everyone to document his or her life story to share.

If you need help telling your story, please let me know. To receive a free 2-year subscription to SpiritualLifeStories.com with a book published for free, email info@lifestories.com. Ask for activation of an account, and then you can answer the prompts via typing or with your voice. Easy peasy.

People like reading about your life, so share it.

Spiritual Life Stories Tell Your Story

What an incredible opportunity! I was able to share my spiritual journey, at my own pace, with helpful prompts, and in an easy-to-use format. And at the end? I have a beautifully printed book to share with family and friends.

This opportunity comes through SpiritualLifeStories.com.

As part of helping promote the company, I received a complimentary subscription. And now, they’re offering something even more generous: a FREE two-year subscription so you can write your spiritual story and safely store it in the cloud. When you're ready and click “Submit,” your story will be printed as a keepsake for you and those you care about.

You can:

  • Choose a photo for your cover

  • Answer as many (or as few) questions as you’d like

  • Add or edit questions to make the story uniquely yours

  • Record your information by speaking it online into your phone or computer (rather than typing).

Start by answering "About Me" questions such as your name, family background, and faith journey through school, military service, work, and home life. Then move deeper into your spiritual reflections, touching on topics like the Bible, philosophy, and your thoughts on heaven.

If you’d like to claim this offer, email info@lifestories.com with “Free Subscription” in the subject and body of the message.

I’ve personally known Chad Harbour, the founder of LifeStoriesCompany and Spiritual Life Stories, for over 30 years. After losing his mom at a young age, Chad felt called to capture and share his story for his own children, and now he’s helping others do the same.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I don’t know how long this opportunity will last, so don’t wait, and please share it with others who might be interested.

Thanks so much for your support!

Farewell, Chicago

Goodbye tall buildings,
Goodbye lake so wide,
Goodbye headless statues,
Your memories stay by my side.

Goodbye wild weather,
Goodbye winds that race,
Goodbye drifting snowfall,
And mornings lost in haze.

Goodbye kind faces,
Goodbye penthouse view,
Goodbye humming elevators,
And fireworks for two.

Goodbye grand museums,
Goodbye works of art,
Goodbye mighty dinosaurs,
You truly stole my heart.

Goodbye to fine dining,
Goodbye noodles and spice,
Goodbye warm baguettes and pizza,
Just a short walk was so nice.

Goodbye to Chicago, bold and bright,
Where we lived almost a year, the view so right.
Thank you for the joy, the days we made clear,
You’ll live in our memories, always held dear.
